Anna Belknap
Lindsay Monroe in CSI: NY


   Anna Belknap's television credits include a series regular role on "Medical Investigation" and on CBS's "The Handler," a recurring role in "Deadline" and guest-starring roles in "Law & Order," "Law & Order: SVU," "The Comeback," "The Jury," "Trinity" and "Homicide: Life on the Street." She also appeared as a guest star in "Without a Trace" and "The Education of Max Bickford," both on the Network.

   She appeared in the feature film "Alchemy" and made her feature film debut in the independent film "The Reality Trap."

   Her stage credits include the Off Broadway production of "Metamorphoses" at New York's Second Stage Theatre, as well as roles at the Mark Taper Forum, the Globe Theater, the Huntington Theatre, the Westport Country Playhouse and the Williamstown Theater Festival. She was the recipient of the 2002 San Diego Theater Critics Circle Craig Noel Award for Outstanding Performance as "Marina" in the Globe Theater's production of "Pericles" by William Shakespeare. She is also a member of the Rude Mechanicals Theater Company in New York.

   Born in Maine, Belknap graduated from Middlebury College and received a Masters of Fine Arts degree in acting from the American Conservatory Theater. She lives in Los Angeles. Her birth date is May 22.

A.J. Buckley
Adam Ross in CSI: NY


   A.J. Buckley's television credits include recent guest starring roles in "Entourage," "CSI" and "Without a Trace," on the Network as well as "NYPD Blue" and "Supernatural."

   On the big screen he will be seen starring in the upcoming thriller "The Box" with Gabrielle Union, Mia Maestro and Giancarlo Esposito. He also appeared in "Happy Feet," "The Last Sin Eater," "Disturbing Behavior," "The In Crowd" and the critically acclaimed "Blue Car."

   In addition to his role in "CSI: NY," Buckley is also producing several television and feature projects with his company, Fourfront Productions.

   Born in Ireland, Buckley immigrated to Canada at age 6. As a teenager in British Colombia, Buckley began his acting career in the television series "The Odyssey" followed by guest starring roles in "The X- Files" and "Millennium." His birth date is Feb. 9.

Eddie Cahill
Det. Don Flack in CSI: NY


   Eddie Cahill is also familiar to television audiences for his role as Rachel's boyfriend Tag Jones in "Friends." He starred in the television series "Glory Days" and had guest-starring roles in "Sex and the City," "Dawson's Creek," "Haunted," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Charmed" and "Felicity."

   Cahill made his feature film debut in 2004 in "Miracle," in which he played Jim Craig, goalkeeper for the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team and one of the actor's real-life heroes. He has also appeared in the film "Lords of Dogtown."

   In 2000, Cahill appeared in the Off Broadway production of "The Altruists."

   Cahill was born and raised in New York and now divides his time between New York and Los Angeles. His birth date is Jan. 15.

Hill Harper
Dr. Sheldon Hawkes in CSI: NY


   Hill Harper starred in "The Handler," on CBS, for which he received a 2004 Golden Satellite Award nomination as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. His role in the series "City of Angels," also on CBS, brought him an NAACP Image Award nomination as Best Supporting Actor. His additional television credits include "The Court," "Live Shot," "Lackawanna Blues" and the mini-series "Mama Flora's Family," on the Network. He has made guest appearances in "The Sopranos," "Soul Food," "The New Twilight Zone," "ER," "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," "Married...with Children," "NYPD Blue" and, on CBS, "Cosby."

   His feature film credits include "Love, Sex and Eating the Bones," "America Brown," "The Badge," "Loving Jezebel," "The Nephew," "The Skulls," "In Too Deep," "Beloved," "Hav Plenty," "He Got Game," "Get on the Bus," "Zooman," "Full Court Press" and "One Red Rose," which he also co-wrote. His role in the film "The Visit" earned him a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award. His upcoming projects include the independent films "Premium" and "The Breed."

   Harper's theater credits include "Dogeaters" and Off Broadway productions of "Blue," "Your Handsome Captain," "Freeman" and David Mamet's "American Buffalo." He is a full-time member of the Black Folk's Theater Company of Boston, one of the nation's oldest and most respected African American traveling theater troupes.

   Harper released his own book, Letters to a Young Brother. The book provides inspirational lessons and guidance for today's youth.

   Harper graduated magna cum laude and valedictorian from Brown University and has two graduate degrees from Harvard University, a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a master's in public administration from the Kennedy School of Government.

   Originally from Iowa City, Iowa, he lives in Los Angeles. His birth date is May 17.

Melina Kanakaredes
Det. Stella Bonasera in CSI: NY


   Melina Kanakaredes starred for five seasons in the television series "Providence." Her additional television credits include "New York News," on CBS, "Leaving L.A.," "NYPD Blue" and guest-starring roles in "The Practice" and "Oz. " She also received two Emmy Award nominations for her work in the daytime drama "Guiding Light," on the Network.

   Her feature film credits include "Into the Fire," "Rounders," "Dangerous Beauty," "The Long Kiss Goodnight" and "15 Minutes."

   Kanakaredes is a second-generation Greek American. She made her acting debut at age 8 in an Ohio community theater production of "Tom Sawyer." She attended Ohio State University, where she studied music, dance and theater. She later transferred to Point Park College in Pittsburgh, which recently awarded her an honorary doctorate. She appeared in commercials, in industrial films and on stage in Pittsburgh. Upon graduation, she moved to New York where she appeared in Off Broadway plays.

   In 2001, she became a celebrity spokesperson for Maybelline and was featured in its national television and print campaigns. In 2003, after the birth of her second child, she appeared on Broadway as Sally Bowles in "Cabaret."

   Kanakaredes was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Los Angeles. Her birth date is April 23.

Gary Sinise
Det. Mac Taylor in CSI: NY


   Gary Sinise is a film, theater and television actor, as well as a director and producer. He received an Academy Award nomination in 1995 as Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his portrayal of Lieutenant Dan in "Forrest Gump." He is a three-time Golden Globe nominee and received the award in 1996 for the title role in "Truman." He is a two-time Emmy Award nominee and won the award in 1998 for his lead role in "George Wallace." Sinise is a four-time Tony Award nominee and a four-time nominee and two-time winner of the Screen Actors Guild Award ("Truman," 1996, and "George Wallace," 1998). He has won numerous other awards for his work, including a Best Supporting Actor Award from the National Board of Review ("Forrest Gump") and the Commander's Award from Disabled American Veterans (also for "Forrest Gump").

   His additional feature film credits include "Apollo 13," "Ransom," "The Green Mile," "The Human Stain," "Snake Eyes," "Impostor," "It's the Rage," "Reindeer Games," "The Forgotten," "Mission to Mars," "A Midnight Clear," "Of Mice and Men," "Albino Alligator," "Jack the Bear" and "The Quick and the Dead." He also provides the voice of Shaw in the upcoming animated film "Open Season."

   On television, Sinise has also appeared in the Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation of "Fallen Angel," on CBS, "My Name Is Bill W.," "Path to War," "That Championship Season" and the mini-series "The Stand."

   Sinise directed the films "Of Mice and Men" and "Miles from Home," both of which were screened in competition at the Cannes Film Festival.

  At the age of 18, Sinise co-founded the Steppenwolf Theatre Company of Chicago, where he served as artistic director for seven years. He has since starred in over a dozen productions at the renowned theater, including the role of Tom Joad in "The Grapes of Wrath," for which he received a Tony Award nomination and a Drama Desk Award. In 1996, he also directed "Buried Child," which was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Director and Best Play. In the spring of 2000, he starred in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" at Steppenwolf, as well as at the Barbican Theatre in London. He brought the production to Broadway in April 2001, and received a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor.

   His other theater directing credits include "True West," "Orphans," "Tracers," "Frank's Wild Years," "The Miss Firecracker Contest," "Waiting for Parade," "Action," "Road to Nirvana" and "Landscape of the Body."

   Sinise launched "Operation Iraqi Children," a program that enables Americans to send school supplies to children living in Iraq. He and Laura Hillenbrand, author of Seabiscuit: An American Legend, started the program after being inspired by their conversations with Operation Iraqi Freedom soldiers, as well as his USO tours of the region.   Sinise, a Chicago native, lives in Los Angeles. He is married to actress Moira Harris, an original member of the Steppenwolf company. They have three children. His birth date is March 17.
