   They weigh 6 carats and are flawless: the unique “Montblanc Diamonds”, cut artistically in the shape of the Montblanc star and forming the centrepiece of one of the most refined jewellery editions of Montblanc. Exceptional individual creations of white gold which are set with a truly brilliant display of diamonds.

   Each of the three sensuously luxurious necklaces has a strikingly unique diamond design, crowned by the “Montblanc Diamond.” Elegant and each with a 2-carat “Montblanc Diamond”, they harmonise perfectly with these unique pieces of masterly jewellery craftsmanship. The brilliant pieces of jewellery will be presented by top models during the VIP Gala “The Night of Stars” at the foot of Mont Blanc, Europe’s highest mountain.

The “Montblanc Diamond”

   Inspiration for a unique Edition of Haute Joaillerie pieces The flawless “Montblanc Diamond” is impressive enough because of its size and weight of 6 carats. But its shape – artistically cut to resemble the Montblanc star – is also unique, a homage to Montblanc’s trademark, the embodiment of highest quality, passionate perfection and traditional craftsmanship. A high degree of clarity and colourful splendour make the light inside the diamond dance and generate maximum brilliance. It took eight years of research and development to create the optimum cut of the “Montblanc Diamond.“ The jewellery artists of Montblanc needed another half year to produce the singular pieces of jewellery for the High Jewellery of diamondstudded 750 white gold.

   World premiere of Montblanc High Jewellery – Individually produced diamond jewels of breathtaking beauty. Some moments are moments of extreme bliss. Montblanc celebrates these special moments in pomp and glory with these unique jewels. The three necklaces, created as unique items and with corresponding chandeliers, are true crown jewels of Italian jewellery design with the glamorous, star-shaped “Montblanc Diamond“ in their centre. In the flat, baguette-shaped “Etoile” necklace, cut diamonds totalling 24.51 carats underline the radiance of the 6.23-carat “Montblanc Diamond“, while in the “Passion“ necklace, round and heart-shaped diamonds of 19.38 carats bear within themselves the fire of passion and emotions. In the third design – “Dentelle“ – it is not only the name that recalls finely worked lace. Here diamonds of 6.15 carats show the magic of exceptional beauty. Each necklace goes with elegant chandeliers, each with a 2.12-carat “Montblanc Diamond“ and other diamonds of up to 4.41 carats.

   The red carpet was rolled out for the “Montblanc Night of Stars” at the foot of Mont Blanc for the world première of the brilliant “Etoile de Montblanc Haute Joaillerie” on 2 February 2007 – in a crystal-clear ice palace built specially for this VIP Gala.

Romantic and bewitchingly feminine in its charm, a smooth diamond strap of 24.07 carats surrounds an artistically worked rose bouquet, set with a 6-carat, star-shaped “Montblanc Diamond”. Each of the matching ear-rings sparkles with the exclusive and elegant fire of a “Montblanc Diamond” of more than 2 carats.

Three blooming roses, studded with diamonds, are retained by a diamond strap, in the centre of which the precious Montblanc Diamond shines out. The diamond strap of 750 solid white gold lies charmingly and flatteringly around the neck of its wearer and follows smoothly her every movement with a seductive glitter. On the Montblanc Haute Joallerie “Bouquet”, a total of 1,001 carefully set diamonds of 25.07 carats display the magic and symbolism of infinite beauty, combined to form an artistically bound rose bouquet.    Now in 2007 on October 25th Montblanc is launching a unique collection of jewellery that enriches the Haute Joaillerie creations of the past. Montblanc is celebrating the World Premiere of the 12 carat Montblanc diamond in an evening that combines Glamour, Luxury and Extravagance in “A Tribute to Women”. The centerpiece of this magnificent necklace with briolette diamonds (3,050 stones for a total weight of 378,74 ct) is the flawless Montblanc Diamond of 12 carat in D colour and IF clarity. The necklace comes together with superb matching earrings with dancing briolette cut diamonds (196 stones for a total weight of 22,19 ct) and 2 Montblanc diamonds of 1,10 ct and 1,12 ct in D colour and IF clarity.

   Montblanc presents the most unique Luxury Gala that will be staged for one night only in the ‘Montblanc Opera House’ – a specially created Theatre – with over 100 glittering chandeliers - built just for this unique event. International Celebrities such as Hilary Swank, Elle MacPherson, Kristin Scott Thomas and Daryl Hannah as well as Chinese model Mary Ma, Chinese actress Li Bing Bing and Maggie Q will be special guests at that night.

   The 1930’s were the years of the big Movie Musicals and fabulous Stage Shows on a scale not replicated into today’s world. Now, “A Tribute to Women” recreates the heady days of the 1930’s, yet showcases the new era of Luxury and Glamour in today’s China. 60 dancers from the UK and America, international singers from Australia and the UK with backgrounds as diverse as the Royal Opera and Phantom of the Opera, a full theatre orchestra and a stage setting that combined with over 160 costumes brings together the best of Broadway and the great black and white films of Busby Berkley with the technology and glamour of the 21st century.
