Hollywood Tonight presents Round The Square internet series!

ROUND THE SQUARE SYNOPSIS

   'Round the Square is a webseries created by Michael Robert Berry and C. Daniel Freund for shortstream.tv . The series focuses on six fictional characters who live and work in America's favorite little port city, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Staying within standard webseries format, each of the ten episodes of 'Round the Square's first season runs approxately 4 to 6 minutes. The entire first season will be available for digital download, uncut, on shortstream.tv very soon; details about purchasing the first season will be available through shortstream.tv and our Facebook page.

   In the first season, Cheryl is facing the reality of losing her bead store and her apartment. Evan, a bartender, waiter, and an actor, also needs a roommate, but even though Evan and Cheryl are best friends, they know they can't live together. Fortunately for Evan his old friend from college, John "Jack" moves back into the area and becomes his roommate. Andrea's new boyfriend makes her wonder if she's sacrificing her life for fitness. John, a friend of Cheryl and Evan, moves back to Portsmouth and moves in with Evan; Evan and Jack have to cope with the fact they are not the same people they were in college. Nate is the group's go-to-guy, but his title is challenged by Cheryl's new roommate, Emily.

   The series is an ensemble piece. There is no one main character. From Nate, who is a contractor to Emily, a fun loving, free-spirit, the soul of Portsmouth is symbolized in 'Round the Square. It is our hope to promote Portsmouth and the New Hampshire seacoast while providing high-quality entertainment.

   We will begin filming our second season at the end of March and into early April. Season 2 will be released through shortstream.tv early fall of 2010. There is also a spin off series entitled ABU*Blues that will begin filming in early June of 2010.
